Roselle, Rosella SEEDS – Heirloom & Untreated – Hibiscus sabdariffa
Roselle, Rosella – Hibiscus sabdariffa is a quickly growing and sun-loving plant. It is a short-living perennial but bears more fruits if grown annually. The leaves are edible, fruits are great for jam, cordial, drinks, wine and more.
The taste of this jam reminds me of sour cherry jam. Delicious!

Planting and growing tips: Placing the seeds in water for 24 hours before putting them into the soil will speed up the germination process. Rosella is an easy-to-grow plant, that loves the sun and moderate watering. The better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in slightly raised garden beds.
