1. Overview
Thank you for shopping at Permaculture Haven. We are committed to providing high-quality seeds, plants, gardening accessories, and digital education. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, and replacements, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Returns & Refunds for Physical Products (Seeds, Plants, Eggs, gardening accessories)
Due to the biological and perishable nature of our core products, we have the following conditions:
- Change of Mind: We do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind on eggs, seeds, or plants, as they are perishable goods.
- Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items: If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. We will require proof (e.g., photos) to assess the issue. Where a major failure is confirmed, we will offer you a choice of a replacement, a refund, or store credit.
3. Digital Products (Courses, eBooks, Digital Files)
Due to the immediate and irrevocable nature of digital access, we do not offer refunds or returns on any digital courses, guides, or files once access has been granted or the download link has been provided. Please review the product description carefully before purchasing.
4. Shipping & Non-Receipt Policy
This is critical for managing expectations on untracked items.
- Untracked Letter Post (Seeds): Seeds shipped via untracked standard letter are sent at the customer’s risk.
- Claims for non-receipt must be made within 3 weeks (21 days) of the dispatch confirmation email.
- We will offer a resend or credit only for claims made within this period.
- After 3 weeks, no refunds or resends are available for untracked orders.
- Tracked Parcels (Plants & Larger Orders): For orders shipped with a tracking number, please use the tracking link provided. If the tracking shows a problem, contact us immediately.
- General Shipping Delays: Estimated delivery times are guidelines only. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers (Australia Post, couriers). Please contact your local postal service if your tracked parcel is delayed.
5. How to Initiate a Return or Claim
To start a process for a faulty/damaged item or a non-receipt claim:

- Provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
- For damaged/faulty items, attach clear photographs.
- For non-receipt of untracked seeds, confirm your shipping address is correct.
We will respond within 2-3 business days with instructions.
6. Refund Processing Time
If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
