Your Planting & Care Guide

Immediate Care (After Delivery):

  1. Give the plant a thorough water.

  2. Place it in a sheltered, partially shaded spot for a few days to recover from transit.

  3. Keep it in its original pot during this adjustment period.

Planting Out:

  • Transplant into your garden or a larger pot when roots begin to emerge from the drainage holes.

  • Water deeply immediately after planting. Thereafter, water only as needed—this drought-tolerant plant dislikes soggy soil.

  • For best results, choose a well-drained position. Slightly raised garden beds are ideal.

Ongoing Conditions:

  • Light: Grows well in full sun to partial shade.

  • Soil: Adapts to most soil types, but quality soil will speed growth and improve yield.

  • Acclimatisation: As our nursery plants are grown in partial shade, gradually introduce them to more sun over a week before final planting for healthiest growth.
