Cranberry Hibiscus SEEDS – Red Shield Hibiscus – Heirloom & Untreated – Hibiscus acetosella
A striking ornamental edible with deep burgundy foliage and pink hibiscus flowers. Fast-growing as an annual or short-lived perennial, perfect for gardens or containers. Young leaves add a tangy, citrus-like flavor to salads, and the plant is prized for its vibrant color in landscaping. Rich in antioxidants and vitamin C (young leaves are edible raw or cooked). The leaves and flowers are traditionally used in teas for mild immune support.
Note: Ornamental variety – not the same as roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa).
