Brazilian Spinach – Alternanthera sissoo – Perennial Spinach – Ready to Plant

Brazilian spinach is a very easy to grow, perennial spinach substitute. Grows quickly and it doesn’t need much water. A great addition to any garden. Domestic birds like chickens and ducks love it, too!

Planting tips: It loves shade, half-shade, and moderate watering. Remember: the better the soil, the quicker and better your plants will grow. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in raised garden beds.

Eating tips: This is delicious perennial spinach when you want to taste the crunchiness. The leaves stay crunchy even after heating them up. Great for soups, curry dishes, pizza, stir-fries, and all sorts of other dishes.
