Planting and growing tips: Sow during a frost-free Winter and Spring. Snow pea is an easy-to-grow plant, however, the better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It prefers full sun. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in raised garden beds. It is a bush-type snow pea that can grow up to 2m so it requires a trellis to climb on.
