Sage Herb SEEDS – Salvia Officinalis – Heirloom & Untreated
Non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated, no chemically treated, heirloom seeds. Sage is a fantastic culinary and medicinal herb. According to the National Library of Medicine: “For a long time, sage (Salvia) species have been used in traditional medicine for the relief of pain, protecting the body against oxidative stress, free radical damages, angiogenesis, inflammation, bacterial and virus infection, etc.”(source: National Library of Medicine). Sage has lots of health benefits and can be used in a range of homemade remedies like tinctures, infused oils, tea, beauty products, salves, and more. It is a hardy perennial herb that prefers a semi-shade and sunny position. It will happily grow in a pot, too.

Planting and growing tips: Sow during a frost-free Winter, and Spring to early Summer. Sage is a hardy and easy-to-grow plant, however, the better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in raised garden beds.
