Planting and growing tips: Soak the seeds in clean water for about 24 hours or longer until germination begins (change water daily). Sow the seeds in soil mixed with sand or with vermiculite to ensure good drainage. Keep it moist but not waterlogged. It can grown in a pot, garden bed, or a pond or dam as an edge plant. Oryza Sativa is an easy-to-grow plant, that loves full sun and semi-shade, and moist, rich soil. The better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow.
Harvesting and storing tips: Harvest when the rice grains turn golden brown. Place the rice grains on a baking tray and dehydrate them in the oven (fan-forced if available) or in a dehydrator for 1-2 hours at 70°C. Store in an airtight container.
