Grow your own rare, non-bitter variety! These heirloom seeds are non-GMO, non-hybrid, and open-pollinated. They are organically grown and completely untreated—no chemicals used here.

This is our favorite eggplant variety, saved and grown for years. It produces large, oval fruits with thin, non-bitter skin and very few seeds, making the entire fruit a delight to eat. Highly nutritious, it’s an excellent source of phenolic acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

This hardy, short-lived perennial is ideal for subtropical and tropical gardens. In cooler climates, it can be grown successfully in pots and moved to a protected spot during winter frosts.

Sowing & Growing Tips
  • Sowing: For best results, sow seeds in a warm, well-lit position after the last frost. Start seeds in small pots or seed trays using a quality seed-raising mix.

  • Transplanting: Once seedlings are sturdy and have developed several true leaves, gently transplant them into the garden or a larger container. Water in well.

  • Position: Prefers a well-drained soil in a position with partial shade. It adapts to many soil types but will thrive in rich, fertile soil. Slightly raised garden beds are ideal.

  • Watering: Water regularly, but ensure the soil is not waterlogged.

  • Versatility: Perfect for garden beds or container gardening.
