Daikon Radish SEEDS – Raphanus Sativus – Tasty Hardy Tillage Radish – Heirloom #60+

Non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated, not chemically treated, heirloom seeds. Daikon Radish is a hardy and quickly growing vegetable with large and long taproots which may grow up to 90 cm in length. Both, the root and the leaves are edible raw and make a delicious salad. It can be pickled, and fermented and it is one of the most important Kimchi ingredients. We also like to add them to stir-fries and Asian types of soups. The root can also be roasted with some olive oil. Yummy! Check our second website at www.permaculturehaven.com and our Instagram page for some inspirational images and recipes. Perfect for growing in subtropics and warmer climates from early autumn to early summer. Very easy to grow mostly because of its excellent disease resistance and its ability to penetrate deep into the soil. This vegetable will aerate the soil while growing and because of that, it’s also called the tillage radish. I also like to mention its health benefits.

The price is for 60+ seeds.

Horseradish PLANT Heirloom – Armoracia rusticana

Horseradish PLANT Heirloom – Armoracia rusticana is an evergreen perennial plant used as a spice and for its medicinal properties. We love the spicy taste of Horseradish and are adding it to many dishes, raw and in cooking. The fresh leaves can be eaten raw, or add to salads, smoothies, soups, on sandwiches. The roots can be ground to a paste and used in many different dishes. Leaves and roots, dehydrated and ground to powder, can be added to all sorts of dishes. Horseradish is also an important ingredient when fermenting vegetables. It keeps them nice and crunchy even when fermented.

Grow it in shade under a fruit tree for example and it will thrive. It can be grown in a container but shade in a hot climate is a must!
