Non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated, no chemically treated, heirloom seeds. Sunflower Sunbird is a hardy variety that can grow up to 2-2.5m. It produces large flowers which attract a range of beneficial insects to your garden, and produces delicious seeds for human and bird consumption. Sunflower petals, leaves and stalks are also edible and can be added to salads, soups, and stir-fries. Sunflower seeds have lots of health benefits.

Planting and growing tips: Sunflower Sunbird is a hardy plant, that loves the sun and moist soil, however, the better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in slightly raised garden beds.
