Planting and growing tips: Sunflower Sunbird is a hardy plant, that loves the sun and moist soil, however, the better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in slightly raised garden beds.

  • plants spacing ~30cm, sowing depth ~10mm, germination soil temperature 21-30 °C
  • germination ~7-14 days, maturity ~70 days
