Rocket Lettuce SEEDS Heirloom – Arugula – Eruca Sativa

Non-GMO, non-hybrid, open-pollinated, no chemically treated, heirloom seeds. Rocket Lettuce is an easy-to-grow must-have leafy vegetable. Delicious leafy green with a slightly peppery and nutty flavour. It can be enjoyed on its own, served with all sorts of dishes to add the extra flavour to a “boring” dish, tossed through pasta before serving, mixed with other greens, or as a pizza topping. The leaves are soft and can be harvested regularly as the plant grows.

The price is for 125+ seeds.

Planting and growing tips: Minimum germination soil temperature is 15°C, sowing depth ~0.3cm, plant spacing ~15cm. Sow in pots or straight into its final position. It can be grown in containers, aquaponics, hydroponics, and in the garden. Rocket lettuce is an easy-to-grow plant, that loves the sun and moderate watering, however, the better the soil, the quicker and better it will grow. It doesn’t like to sit in water so a well-drained position is best. All our edibles grow happily and quickly in slightly raised garden beds. It does grow better during the cooler months of the year and therefore sowing at the beginning of summer is not recommended.
