Armenian Cucumber Seeds – Heat Tolerant Heirloom
Cucumis melo var. flexuosus
The Armenian cucumber (Cucumis melo var. flexuosus) is a fascinating variety that belongs to the melon family (C. melo) and is closely related to standard cucumbers. It is a good source of vitamins C and K, as well as magnesium. They produce an abundance of light green, sweet, and crispy cucumbers. This variety is notably heat-tolerant and easy to grow, making it a perfect choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners. The fruits are delicious when eaten fresh and excellent for pickling.
While the fruit can grow impressively long, up to 90 cm, it tastes best when harvested at around 20–30 cm. Picking at this ideal size not only ensures the best flavor and texture but also encourages continuous production throughout the growing season.
These are non-GMO, open-pollinated, heirloom seeds that are not chemically treated.
