Pacific Taro PLANT – Untreated & Heirloom – Edible Taro – Colocasia Esculenta
Pacific Taro
is a perennial plant that produces tasty edible tubers and is a fantastic potato substitute. The tubers are peeled and boiled, baked, or stir-fried. The leaves can be used for food wrapping before cooking. Taro has many health benefits. It contains some important nutrients, such as vitamins C and E, fiber, potassium, magnesium, and other elements that are super important for our health. It can be grown in a large pot, too. Taro should never be consumed raw.
The plant you buy is grown by Ewa, propagated from the mother plant that grows in her food forest.
